Understand your options
A crown
A restoration covering a prepared tooth that needs support or repair.
A bridge
A fixed replacement for missing teeth, supported by suitable neighbouring teeth or implants.
A considered choice
Material, bite, gum health and the condition of supporting teeth all matter.
Your journey, step by step
Swipe through the stages. Your clinician explains the plan for your needs.
Assess and compare
We examine the tooth or gap and explain alternatives, limitations and fees.
Prepare and record
If appropriate, the tooth is prepared and a scan or impression records the shape.
Make and check
The restoration is made to the agreed plan. A temporary restoration may be needed.
Fit and maintain
We check fit, bite and appearance, then explain cleaning and reviews.
Aftercare and ongoing support
Brush and clean between teeth daily. A bridge needs cleaning beneath the replacement tooth too. Tell us about looseness, persistent sensitivity or a changed bite.
A balanced decision
Tooth preparation can be irreversible. Sensitivity, decay, gum problems, chipping or loosening can occur; a supporting tooth may later need root canal treatment. Restorations may require repair or replacement.
Questions you may have
Will it match my smile?
We discuss shade, shape and material. The appearance achievable depends on your teeth and the restoration.
How long will it last?
There is no lifetime guarantee. Cleaning, diet, grinding and reviews affect its lifespan.
What if it comes loose?
Contact the clinic for assessment. Do not use household glue to put it back.
