Numb and clean
Local anaesthetic is usually used. The tooth is isolated and the canals are cleaned.
Fill and seal
The canals are filled and sealed. A temporary filling may be used between appointments.

Complete the planned filling or crown, then attend the recommended checks.
Aftercare and ongoing support
Follow the advice for your temporary or final restoration. Keep the tooth clean and attend follow-ups. Contact us for increasing pain, swelling or a lost temporary filling.
A balanced decision
Some teeth cannot be predictably restored. Persistent infection, fracture or complex canals may require specialist care, retreatment or extraction. We discuss these possibilities before treatment.

How many appointments will I need?
Often more than one. Complexity, infection and the final restoration determine the plan.
Will I need a crown?
Not every tooth does. Your dentist considers the remaining tooth structure and bite.
Can a treated tooth become infected again?
Yes. Further assessment may identify a need for retreatment or another approach.

Use Gate 5 for visitor parking. Parking is free for the first two hours and after 5 pm. Each additional hour costs AED 10, which the clinic covers. Please speak to reception about arranging coverage of any additional parking charges.
